Aug 10, 2010 – SCOTTSDALE, AZ, AUGUST 10, 2010: Susan Stalteri, owner of The Stalteri Group, LLC announces My Money Life ™ A Financial Education Company for Women. My Money Life™ is a business focused on educating and empowering women to earn money, save money, and spend money wisely. My Money Life™ incorporates live educational workshops, and web based tools and resources. The focus is to make the environment more inviting, non-intimidating and energizing so that women are excited to learn and talk about money.
Women learn best by interacting, building community, and empowering each other. The first event, My Money Life: A Woman’s Financial Workshop and Expo is scheduled for October 2, 2010 at the Wyndham Hotel in Phoenix, AZ. The focus is on building confidence, competency, and cash flow. The event will include two keynote speakers, three breakout sessions where the attendees can choose from 15 topics facilitated by leaders in the financial and business community in Phoenix, lunch, door prizes and much more. Over 40 exhibitors will be present to help attendees connect with resources that will provide them more information and tools to build a stronger financial path.
Workshop topics range from financial fundamentals to entrepreneurial thinking and practices. We are inundated with information overload and lack the time for self study and women need to prioritize their goals and focus on continual learning no matter what their age. All women should understand the power of entrepreneurial thinking even if they are an employee.
This workshop is for all women, from college to retirees. Financial Education is a continual journey because our life stages create different priorities and needs. Women are encouraged to bring their mothers, daughters, girlfriends, sisters, neighbors, and coworkers. Learning is more fun and engaging with friends, and creates accountability. The first 200 attendees will receive My Money Life™ goodie bags filled with prizes and educational materials.
Women succeed best when engaged in community. To honor this, 10 percent of the net proceeds of the My Money Life: A Woman’s Financial Workshop and Expo will be donated to two non-profit organizations in the Phoenix area: The Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women’s Foundation Resource Center (www.wehelpwomen.com), which mentors and supports women working through change; and Local First Arizona (www.localfirstaz.com), a non-profit that supports and promotes the importance of locally-owned businesses. My Money Life™ is proud to sponsor these organizations that do so much for women and the local community.
